Kassiato Sausage made with fresh pork, leek, onion and Metsovone cheese.

A balanced blend of fine spicy flavours and the rich smoked aroma of the Metsovone cheese envelope and spark the distinctly fine taste of fresh pork meat. Ideal for barbequing, grilling, served with sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) or on a processed meats platter with white sauces. Complemented by an exquisite dry red wine or aggressive white wine depending on the intensity of flavor in your dish.

Kassiatiko= made with cheese, deriving from the Vlach word for cheese

General instructions for use & tips:

  • No product is dishwasher-safe.
  • All items can be preserved in good condition with the use of cooking oil.
  • Before using for the first time, it is advisable to hand-wash each item and coat with cooking oil twice.
  • Any items used for storing food (i.e. dried nuts, bread, etc) do not require oil coating.
  • Do not soak any products for hours.
  • After hand-washing, not dishwashing each product, towel dry and store.
